Doug McDermott's trophy case is probably getting a little crowded at this point. The Creighton superstar was named the Naismith Men's College Basketball Player of the Year on Sunday, according to the official release. McDermott, who beat out finalists Nick Johnson of Arizona, Jabari Parker of Duke and Russ Smith of Louisville, led the country in scoring with 27.7 points per contest.
